Off To School!

For most parents, their kids are heading back to school.

But in about a week or so our little boy, Eli, will be heading off to school to attend his very first day.

We’re both excited and scared, wondering how he will do without us around and surrounded by new people.

We also worry about how he will develop and grow. If he will be able to learn as well as the other children.

So, I am looking into different home-based learning materials to be able to teach him some basic concepts and keep his mind stimulated. Continue reading Off To School!

Focusing on A Healthy Life

There’s nothing I want more than to always be here for my son.


As an artist, I sit on my butt a lot and I usually don’t like moving from my chair, especially when I have ideas flowing.

But I have constant problems with lower back pain, and I know without a doubt that it’s caused from sitting on my butt all day long.

The Shoestring Gardner

I know this post don’t have much to do with art, but I like gardening and growing vegetables. I also like building raised garden beds.

And, well, I thought this book was pretty neat.

Both my wife and I are into gardening, and I’m pretty sure that if we had the chance we would probably have an acre or two of land just for planting a huge garden.
