Getting to know a little about who I am and what I look for in an artist studio…
When I think of the studio that I want the most, I see a lot of space.
I love space.

Not a whole lot has changed really. Just cruising through life the best that I know how.
I’m still writing and drawing on my books, and I’m still creating artwork for my online stores, though I haven’t posted any new art yet.
I’ve been busy with work and trying to save some money to buy more art supplies, which is really hard nowadays it seems like.
I’ve been struggling with the decision to give up art for while in order to get things lined back up and save some cash. I don’t buy a whole of materials and what I do buy goes quickly, especially when my ideas are coming faster than I can get them onto a canvas or into Photoshop. Continue reading

I know a lot of people have a hard time deciding on which art supplies to use for drawing, thinking they need the most expensive supplies out there. But, in reality, all you need is a yellow #2 pencil (mine are black), a good eraser, and some paper.
But most of the time my artwork is digital, meaning I use a graphics tablet to draw inside editing software, like Photoshop, directly onto my computer. There are few graphics tablets out there, so the best advice I can give you is to do your research and find one that you would feel comfortable with and also fits within your budget if you have one.
