In February, 2021, I will be posting all of my artwork into my online shop for my grand (re)opening.
Why February and not January? I keep finding more things that I need, like having boxes for shipping. Pretty important! I’m going to do it, no matter the circumstances. I’ve grown tired of waiting around. As long as I have the basic items necessary to ship packages, I’m going to do it this time!
So, in February, everything’s up for grabs!(more…)
Before I get into podcasting and the year 2020, I want to give many thanks to those who continue to support me and my dream of becoming an artist. Your continued support keeps me motivated to be the best that I can be, as well as the best artist that I can be. Niyawe! Thank you!(more…)
Changes are happening all over the site, starting with the addition of my shop page with sub-menu links to my off-site shops like Threadless and Society6. The only products that have been added are my books, located on lulu.com, and will be all you see for the time being until I begin creating and posting works to the shop.
It’s happening, folks! Everything is finally coming together and my shop is beginning to take shape.(more…)
I have never been good at keeping new years resolutions. For as long as I can remember making them, I’ve never followed through with one. Too many things happen in a year that change my plans and I end up going in a different direction or I just don’t do it.
But, as the holidays come to a close and a new year is just around the corner, I find myself thinking about the things I hope to accomplish in the year 2020. So, do I make resolutions?
I don’t think I will.(more…)
As of right now, everything is on hold.
I haven’t had the money to fix my computer or buy a new one. We’re in the process of getting things ready to move out of our current home in the near future and I’ve put all of my craft work on hold. To be honest, I don’t know when I will be able to begin making things again. Things have been rough the last few weeks and we’re doing what we can to stay afloat.
I can’t wait to until things are back to normal.
Anyways, I probably won’t be posting as much until I can begin focusing on the blog again, which I hope is very soon. I’m sure I will post here and there but they will be small posts as they will be from my phone.
My plans got smashed by a single bolt of lightning.
Maybe it just wasn’t time yet.

As October closes in and things keep falling apart, I’m struggling to find a way to continue with my plan to open my online shop.
I got the power supply needed to fix my computer but another issue has reared its ugly head; a few capacitors on the motherboard seem to have blown, which leaves me with a few options: fix it myself, take it to someone, or just buy a new one.
Either way I don’t have the money for it and, sadly, I don’t think I will have it going by October.
In the meantime, I’m continuing my beading and jewelry making on the side until I can get my computer up and running. However, I’m going to wait until closer to October to decide if I want to change the date. I want to hold off as long as I can in case I get things working again. I’m hoping to at least have things running before the end of the year.
The universe is putting a lot of pressure on my family right now, and though I don’t understand why, I’m going to try as hard as I can to keep my head up. I know that we will overcome it.
But dang, universe…!
As always, thanks for checking out the blog and I hope things will get straightened out and I can stop whining about it. I just needed to vent a little and writing makes me feel better.
NEYIWA! Thank you!

There’s nothing like a huge explosion jolting you awake at 2 in the morning when nature strikes.
In that state, your not truly aware of what’s going on and there’s a million things rushing through your mind in that split second; bomb, car crash, gas line…
But the first thing I did was rush into the living room where Eli was sleeping to make sure he was OK.(more…)
