Focusing on A Healthy Life

There’s nothing I want more than to always be here for my son.

As an artist, I sit on my butt a lot and I usually don’t like moving from my chair, especially when I have ideas flowing.

But I have constant problems with lower back pain, and I know without a doubt that it’s caused from sitting on my butt all day long.

So, my wife and I have been looking for an easy diet and exercise program or book that would help get our lives on track to a healthier life, and there’s one book that helped tremendously. Continue reading Focusing on A Healthy Life

What I’m Up To

Not a whole lot has changed really. Just cruising through life the best that I know how.

I’m still writing and drawing on my books, and I’m still creating artwork for my online stores, though I haven’t posted any new art yet.

I’ve been busy with work and trying to save some money to buy more art supplies, which is really hard nowadays it seems like.

I’ve been struggling with the decision to give up art for while in order to get things lined back up and save some cash. Art Materials — My Go-To Drawing Tools

I know a lot of people have a hard time deciding on which art supplies to use for drawing, thinking they need the most expensive supplies out there. But, in reality, all you need is a yellow #2 pencil (mine are black), a good eraser, and some paper.

But most of the time my artwork is digital, meaning I use a graphics tablet to draw inside editing software, like Photoshop, directly onto my computer. There are few graphics tablets out there, so the best advice I can give you is to do your research and find one that you would feel comfortable with and also fits within your budget if you have one. Pencil Drawing Made Easy! (Review)

I thought I would do a mini review of something I’ve seen lately. It’s really cool and I thought a lot of people would like it.

I’m always on the lookout for ways to improve my drawing skills. I do this by hunting around the Internet to see if I can find new tutorials. Yesterday I stumbled across a cool pencil drawing site that I thought was pretty awesome, especially if you want to draw realistically. Continue reading Pencil Drawing Made Easy! (Review)
