Thank you for your continued support!

Online Studio

There’s been a lot going on in the last few weeks with historic winter weather hitting across the country. I just wanted to say thank you for your continued support, even during tough times for all of us! Though it was rough, I managed to get out and ship my very first package from an online order before weather got horrendous.

It’s been very exciting to be able to make something and instantly put it in my Online Studio. It feels amazing, actually!

Thought it may not seem like I haven’t posted new things lately, it’s because I like to get a few things made and then post multiple items at once. I have a few painting ready and soon I will start on a whole new batch of earrings.

As of right now, that’s about all I can do. Custom work won’t begin until I start making money and start saving for materials. I will, however, start on some sterling silver pendants here pretty soon. I have a couple ideas in mind for some sterling silver feathers with some precious stones embedded. I think they’ll look amazing and I can’t wait for you to see them!

Podcast

The Shawnee Rising Podcast has reached the end of season one! It’s been fun and I can’t wait to start on season two in a couple weeks.

To be honest, I’m not sure what will change in season two. I have some things in mind to change things up a bit, but I’m not sure how they will go. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see…

Supporting Shawnee Rising Studios

Again, your support means the world to me and I can’t express how grateful I am. I would have quit a long time ago if I didn’t have amazingly awesome supporters behind me!

Here’s a few more ways to support me if you don’t want to purchase from my shop. You can also support by sharing any of my work or blog posts. Share my Patreon page, my Buy Me a Coffee page, and my website! There’s always ways to support your favorite artist or creator other than monetarily.

So, why ask for money if you just need to share some stuff? Well, it’s simply how I get paid. I’m looking to make my side hobby my full-time job, which means making money in order to buy and restock supplies and upgrade my equipment to better serve those who support me and for future customers, which usually means having multiple streams of income; Patreon, Buy Me a Coffee, my Online Studio, etc.

Patreon

Head over to my Patreon page and pledge to become a member for as little as $1 a month! But if you pledge in the higher tiers ($10 and $25) you will receive a free gift 3 months after you sign up, and then 3 months afterward for a whole year, unless you cancel in that time. But, you can cancel at any time with no worries!

Buy Me a Coffee

If you don’t want to pledge monthly, then you can just buy me a coffee. No joke! Buy Me a Coffee is a simple, easy, and awesome way to support the creators that you believe in with donations, or buying them a coffee! What’s more is that you don’t even have to leave my website to donate, or buy me a coffee. Just look for the coffee cup at the bottom of the page and buy me a coffee, or ten, if ya want! It’s completely up to you.

Buy Me a Coffee has a membership option as well if you just don’t want to mess with Patreon, but you will miss out on all of the perks. But you’ll receive member-only posts when I post on my page. Some people just want to support the artists they love without looking for the perks. If that’s you, then go on ahead and buy me some coffee…I LOVE coffee!

Conclusion

Believe me, it took me a very long time to get to where I could ask for money, even when selling my work in person. If I could, I would love to be able to make things and just give them away, and to be quite honest, it should be that way.

Unfortunately, that’s not how things work. It’s sad, but true. I wish we, as human beings, didn’t have to rely on a little piece of paper to live and breath. It still makes me uncomfortable to post about supporting what I do in my blogs and podcast.

But, this is what I want to do with my life full-time and it’s because of amazingly awesome people out there that believe in what I do that keep me going.

The awesome comments, compliments, and continued support are far more precious to me than money ever will.

I am forever grateful.

Niyawe! Thank you!
