Podcasting and the Year 2020

Before I get into podcasting and the year 2020, I want to give many thanks to those who continue to support me and my dream of becoming an artist. Your continued support keeps me motivated to be the best that I can be, as well as the best artist that I can be. Niyawe! Thank you!

Podcasting

I’ve started a podcast! Head over to the podcast page to listen to the latest episode of The Shawnee Rising Podcast, or follow me on your favorite podcast app. As of right now, you can find my podcast on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Podbean, Google Podcasts, and soon you will find it on Amazon Music/Audible, and Pandora.

I’ll let you know when other apps are available.

2020

In all honesty, 2020 has been quite a trip. A bumpy, pot-hole filled, trip. I haven’t kept many of my promises that I’ve made. I’m not close to being healthy and I haven’t held myself or my wife accountable for what we’ve been eating or doing to be more active.

Why, oh, why can’t it be easier to get healthy?

I’m trying my best not to make excuses, but 2020 has been a wacky year. I was off work for 4 months and in those months I lost track of eating healthy, mainly due to conserving unemployment money. So, I slipped up a bit, but this next year will be different. It has to be!

With all that’s been happening in the world, I hope that you have been staying vigilant and following the guidelines to keep yourself and others safe. We’re all in this together and we all should to do our part. Check on your elders while keeping your distance. Don’t go anywhere unless you absolutely need to.

And…just care about the person next to you. That’s really all it takes. Just care.

Teki Maalaakwahi Ke’pananiipawipwa = Don’t stand close to each other

NIYAWE! Thank you!
