INDIAN BOY is my new book about a Shawnee boy named Eli Blackhoof who is chosen to become the new superhero for Shawnee City. After a mysterious old man gives Eli a magical comic book that tells the story of Indigenous Man, the last hero of Shawnee City, things begin to change for Eli, and for his mom, who is there every step of the way.
This is the first book in what is planned to be a series. The first draft is complete, coming to an 110-page chapter book, but the page count may change after editing, which is going to take up most of my time. I’m not very smart when it comes to grammar or punctuation and I don’t have the finances for using a professional editor so this will take up the most time in the book-making process, which may take another couple months or so.
I’m pretty excited to release it and I hope to start the second book as soon as the editing is done for this one.
